Okay we will be doing a trip this September, which will be our DD's first trip, she will be 10 mo. old at the time. We will be bringing a car seat for the plan ride and for DME, but we don't want to lug it around everywhere on property. Does anyone know if the cabs on Disney property generally have their own car seats? We would probably want to take a cab back to the BWV after our dinner at Jiko.

From the Mears Transportation, cabs at WDW, website (http://www.mearstransportation.com/faq/):

Q: Do taxicabs have car seats? Can I bring my own?
A:Many taxicabs do not have car seats, but you are encouraged to bring your personal car seat. The driver’s car seat may not be the appropriate size to meet your needs.

So, I would not count on there being a car seat readily available.

Also, know that your car seat will have to go under the bus for DME. They are not allowed on the bus. (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/airport-transportation-and-check-in/car-seats-magical-express/)

You can't use a car seat on the bus, not even on DME.

Under Florida law, you aren't required to use a car seat in a taxi. At least that's the way I read it, but some folks disagree.

On property, it should be pretty easy to find a taxi with a car seat, but not many would be appropriately sized for an infant.

The law changed you are required to use them but instead of the burden being on the taxi driver it's on the parent or guardian of the child. Besides physics don't change because you are in Disney. It is just as dangerous for your child to be in a moving vehicle on a Disney street as it is on a street in your home town. Some cabs carry them but for a child that young you need rear facing and that might be difficult to find

You can request a taxi with a carseat, but there's no way of guaranteeing that it will be clean, safe, or appropriate for your child.

If I were in your situation, I would use the bus.
