Car Seats and DME

If we are using car seats for our little ones on the plane, what do we do with them on DME? I know you can't use them, but is there a place to put them? We feel strongly about using them on the plane, and we are probably getting a rental car for part of the trip so we would need them then. I am just not sure how we transport them and our stroller on DME. TIA!

They will go under the bus with the luggage and strollers people have. It's probably good if you have a bag for them.
