What is the best company you have found for prices and service? We will be flying into SNA and need a car rental, What about if we decide to get one mid week during our day anything close to DL? what is the cost for a shuttle from airport to HOJO?

i got a great rate from alamo using the american express travel coupon code (from their website). this was for LAX drop off/pick up.

Last week, I used priceline.com to name my own price for a 5-day car rental, picking up from and returning to the Ontario airport.

My $17/day attempt for a full size car was not accepted. Three days later, my $18/day attempt for a full size car was accepted, by Avis. After taxes and fees, my total will be $128.40 ($38.40 in taxes and fees).

Supershuttle's web site gave me a fare quote of $68 each way for 4 people. So I save money and gain convenience by renting a car.

Dates are December 10-15.
