Car rentals from LAX

Hi
I have never rented a car. I was wondering what company to go with and who to book through? There will be 2 adults, 3 kids (2 in booster seats). Pickup at LAX and drop off in Anaheim 3 days later. What questions do I need to ask? What insurance should I get? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

All of the major car rental agencies have locations
at LAX. The option to drop off at another location
varies from company to company and time of year.
My suggestion would be to check the websites. You
might even have to make a few phone calls.

I use Enterprise all the time and love them. Check
out Avis, Thrifty and Hertz. All four will have locations
near Disneyland and may offer drop off options.
Sometimes it helps to contact the location where
you want to drop off the car to see what they can
offer. Be sure to tell them you have 2 children who
will need car seats so they can make suggestions on
the proper car. If you aren't carrying the approved car
seats (a California law) with you, you can rent them
from the company.

Most of the time your own insurance will cover a
rental car. Much cheaper than the insurance offered
by the rental company. Check with your insurer.

It depends on what they are charging you for the rental (and don't forget to factor in the insurance costs), but I think it is much cheaper (and easier especially if you don't know LA freeways and TRAFFIC) to use this service. shuttle2LAX.com

They will pick you up at the airport and take you to Disneyland (or anywhere) for $20, then $11 for additional passengers. Disneyland has buses all over once you get close. Do you really need a car?
