Car Rentals--Aulani--Have you already rented?

I have a question. I booked through Discount Hawaii Car Rental and got Avis. Can't add the wizard number for extra service as it's a discounted rate.

Could get some car through budget directly for $6 more and add my rapid res #.

Does it make a difference in Hawaii? Is it worth it to have the extra service? IE, easier to get the car?

We used Thrifty with their Blue Chip loyalty program, and it was nice to have our paperwork already printed up so that all we had to do was sign and drive. Very quick and painless.

For $6.00 with Budget, you would then be able to take advantage of Fast Break and avoid the line. Plus with Budget, spouse is free as an additional driver. I've had great luck with BCD U072700 and coupon MUWZ023 (from Southwest Airlines and anyone can use). Try it to see if you get a better rate, good luck. I can't speak for Budget but the line at Alamo was absolutely ridiculous last month, thank goodness for the self check in kiosks.

Not sure if you have done so yet but check Costco.com for rental prices. You can add your car "reward" program and get what ever benefits come with them.

Also found them to be the absolute cheapest for Hawaii. Check daily as prices change. You can also hold many reservations until you get the cheapest.

Was there last week used Alamo...no loyalty program, very easy jumped on the shuttle drove about a half a mile and my car was waiting for me. Very easy process
