Car rentals at Sanford?

Does anyone have any first hand experiences of renting from companies at Sanford? Is the selection decent? Which companies are recomended here? Is it true- no EA from National at Sanford?

Yep - it is true, there is no EA at Sanford. But - the airport is so little, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the car you would like. They share cars/space with Alamo on site.

We rented a minivan from National at Sanford in November - piece of cake. They had quite a few vans, and while you don't get to choose your vehicle, like at the ER aisle at MCO - they did tell me I could choose between a Pontiac Montana and a Grand Caravan. They had quite a few of each in the lot. You do get keys to an assigned vehicle at the counter.

We're using a limo to/from Sanford in June and July and had no trouble getting what we wantedand the rates were very reasonable.
The Sanford website has a large selection of companies for transport.

It's our first time flying into Sanford, so I'll have more to share when we get home.
