Car Rental

I booked a car through alamo. return was for 2pm. flight time changed and now I have to be at airport at 12:30pm. someone said I will be penalized for an early return. don't understand why since I am not asking for cost to be adjusted. I will be paying for time I won't have the car. rentals today are more expensive even changing to 12:30 so I want to keep original rental

Nope you will not be penalized. I have done it several time with Alamo and on a few occasions got a partial refund usually $8- $10 just recently in June. I have even turned it in a day early and it was not an issue
