Car Rental

We just booked ours through Priceline and got 36% savings. I got it on the first try so I think I could have gotten 40%. The one problem with them is there is no cancellations and you get charged immediately. But we have went with them before and were happy with what we got.:goodvibes

I always use Priceline. I got a full size @ SNA for $89 inclusive for a 6 day rental last month.

If you're members of either, both Costco and the Entertainment card websites give a decent discount. Both are cancel-able, so you can make a reservation and still keep hunting for a better deal.

Also, I'm not sure about Alamo's prices in the Anaheim area, but I'm on their email mailing list and they send out Last Minute Deals every few weeks that are often pretty good (in the past, I've canceled my Entertainment reservation for a cheaper last-minute deal from them).

I just used priceline today and got a rental for 225 for 11 days...it was 450 on webpage for the same car. It was from long beach airport for oct.

Paid $297 on Priceline (Name Your Own Price @ $30/day + taxes) for a week rental of a minivan. That beat any deal I found by $20 a day.
