We have never rented a car before. I find the prices right now for Orlando to be very high since first browsing about 6 mos ago. What is the best company to deal with out of MCO? What is the best way to book-online or by phone? How do I decline CWD/LDW insurance if booking online-I can't seem to find that option to decline on certain sites??

Thanks!

Most rental car companies are similar. Go with one located at the airport, then by price. Look for discount codes (many available through places such as COSTCO, Sam's Club, or do a Google search for discount codes, etc.) You can decline the insurance on the paperwork you sign when you pick up the car.

Booking online is the best, because you can sit and compare prices.

I have found that Alamo is always a good one to go with - they are located at the airport, you just walk across the street to the parking car to get your car. Currently SWA has a special going on with alot of the major car rental companies - You have to have a frequent flier number but it is free join on the Southwest website. The code to use for Alamo is SWAPRET.

Oh, and on the Alamo website there a link to get a free class upgrade. Click the link and use the code - it gave me a great deal
