Has anyone rented a car/minivan from the rental agencies onsite at Swan and Dolphin before ??? going in July and kids want to go to that other Theme park for a day(:sad2:) (no respect for the mouse) so figured I would get a mini van (need seating ofr 6) and that way do grocery shopping on way back ??? Will they pick you up at your resort and drive you back when you return it or are you on your own to get there and back to resort after ???

I rented one this past Dec..called the day before and got a full size for $30 all taxes incl. We had a Mall day, hit Target and kept the car till the next morning. I didn't think to ask if they would bring the car to me? Perhaps they would have..we just went to the Dolphin and collected it. Next day-we dropped it back, basically you just pull up and the Valet pkg takes from there, and then we went via tha launch to Epcot from there. Easy.

minnie56- which agency did you use and where were you staying. My parents will be at Pop Century.

I have picked up vehicles at the Dolphin (National/Alamo is the agency on site). It was nice and easy.

They will pick-up and drop off if the rental company is not on site.
Make sure you have a GPS, and the Dolphin & Swan charged $10 parking for every time you exit the parking lot.
Last time i was there, i end up renting a van after 3 days, can't stand the same old boring food anymore.

I didn't pay anything when I left or came back to the Dolphin parking lot?:confused3
Valet brought the car up to me at the Main Lobby door and that's where I dropped it as well.

When I picked up my rental, I didn't have to pay any fee to the Swan/Dolphin either.

However, when I was a guest at the hotel, they did charge me a parking fee.

If you stay in the dolphin and rented a car for the duration, you must pay for self park, higher for valet.
I have to paid $10 for every time i exit the self park lot. 3 times a day. I don't mind since i can have some real food outside the resort.
