Is there a car rental on Disney property?

We will be coming into Sanford/Orlando and will need the car half way thru the vacation and then droping it back off at Sanford at the end.

We didnt want to have to go all the way back to get one from Sanford if we could get it closer.

Birnbaum's say's that cars can be rented at the Magic Kingdom auto plaza (407-824-3470) or there are some rental agencies that have desks at the resorts on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. You could also catch a shuttle to Orlando airport which is about 20-30 min away. You can also inquire when you check in at your hotel.

You can rent a car at the Car Care Center near the Magic Kingdom parking lot or at the Dolphin Hotel. We've used both and both were fine. We dropped our car off at CCC and they gave us a shuttle ride back to our hotel. You can probably also get a shuttle from your resort to CCC.

I never knew that... do you know which car rental agencies are there?

We always rent a car given our usual length of stay... usually have to take a shuttle from MCO.

I'd love to use the Magical Express sometime, but because we rent a car, I didn't think that would be possible.

Only Alamo or National are available at the CCC or the Dolphin. There are some other agencies at some of the DTD hotels, though.
