Seems that the best price I can get for our times/dates for a car rental is through Hotwire. It says the car is "in terminal". If it is a National and we are emerald members, how does that work (as well as members of all car rental rewards programs). Do we have to wait on lines, or can we use kiosk since the rental would be paid in advance? I've used Hotwire for hotels before, but never for a car rental and am a little confused with how that works...thanks.

Member benefits for rental agencies do not carry to Hotwire or Priceline rentals. You should be able to use a Kiosk, but may be directed to see an attendant/agent. The rental is prepaid and cannot be modified/changed, this is important to note if you are arriving on an airline that may change their flight times/schedules.

We are flying Jet Blue and they are usually pretty stable with their flights. If anyone else can find a better rate, I'm going 3/29 (8:30 pm) to 4/6 (11:30 am).

I have been checking and the best I could find was Hotwire, 4-11/4-17 for Midsize in Terminal 158.00 (Avis) Really needed a mini van but gave up with the price was well over 400.00 this way we will have two cars for 5 people for less. Everyone else was over $200.00. We need another compact but the price has been going up the last couple of days :(

I can't believe the prices this year. It is almost double what we paid last year :(

Im looking to book with hot wire right now. The best rate is through Enterprise. At the bottom it says you can cancel at anytime without penalty? Is this correct?

The only reason why I'm concerned is because we are going in September flying Jet Blue and last September Jet Blue changed our flights 3 times.

Hotwire and Priceline offer a non-blind bookings, which are often non-prepaid and can be changed/modified. However, usually you can get the same price to book direct with the agency when looking at non-blind bookings (makes resolving issues easier too).
