Car Rental Return Question for Budget at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites

Hi Folks,
I'd like thoughts on this plan from anyone who might have experience or ideas.

I am coming in Wednesday 8/24 to Cabana Bay with a rental car from Budget. My return location is Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Across From Universal Orlando, 5905 South Kirkman Road.
I plan to check in at CB, leave the family there, and return the car on my own. They my plan was to then walk back to City Walk and take the bus back to Cabana Bay.

My question is, is that walk manageable? Has anyone done this? Is there a better plan I'm not thinking of?

Ask if it is possible they can give you a lift back to the hotel

Tell them you had thought of using their competition that is onsite at the hotel, but chose them as them seemed to have a better reputation

There are some offsite car rentals that will give you a lift back to the hotel if they are not busy at that time

Either do what mac said or uber. I would imagine it would $10 at the most. That would be a hell of a walk.
