What was your code. The best I could do so far is with Costco, compact car $240 taxes included. I would like to do better. I did get Hertz at $250 but that's it.

We have an economy car from Dollar for April 16th-24th for $268. I'd like to get a bigger car but we can deal with this if we have to. It'll be tight driving from/to the airport with luggage but will be fine the rest of the week.

I tried all kinds of codes and companies and this was the cheapest I could get. I booked it at the end of Dec.

If it's $190 including taxes for a week, that's a good price. Cheap car rentals are a thing of the past (used to pay $100-$120 for a week).

I booked awhile ago with BJ's. I was online looking for rates around 11 pm on a weekday and found this rate (including tax). Friends returned home and said one of the companies was trying to "upgrade" them to a larger car for free. but they didn't want to waste gas. I'm hoping we can get the midsize that we booked rather than a larger car for the same reason.

The best I could find that would work for us was $249 for 4/13-20 for an Intermediate from Budget. It was from carrentalsavers.com - I might have to look again though, my flight got moved back by a couple of hours and I think we'll need to go over 7 days, by a couple of hours.

I just applied the $25 coupon last night and got the drop to $164, FYI. When I first put it in to modify it, it showed a rate of $1600 for the midsize! But when I selected the midsize car, the pricing was correct on the reserve screen.

We have an executive Emerald Club membership with National that I would have liked to use, but we saved $150 by switching to Alamo. I just made the reservation last week.

I'm using the same code & coupon as well. So far that's the best rate I can get with ANY Alamo ID/coupon combo so far. I have a minivan rented from April 26th thru May 8th..total with taxes, etc is 559.82.(driving down from New England) .Cheaper than last years rate for me
