Car rental question.

Our arrival flight is getting in at 1pm our departing flight is 6:30pm. Have you ever just booked an extra day and returned the car early instead of paying the extra hourly rate? Thanks

After 3 hours, the extra day rate is cheaper than the hourly rate. Once you reach the 3rd hour, you will automatically be charged an extra day instead. (Atleast the major rental companies do this)

We have to do this all the time. We pick up our car Friday at 10am and return it 4:30 PM the following Friday. The charge is always for 1 week and 1 day.

You will be fine. Where people have problems is when they rent the car for a week and get the cheaper rate over the daily rate and then return the car early.

Use ME and rent the car at Disney. You may also avoid (don't hold me to it) the airport concession tax too. That alone will save a bundle.
