Car Rental Prices 2018

Is it just me or has anyone noticed how the car rental prices for 2018 have skyrocketed ?
(I am looking at mid April)

They are high even now. Checking for my oct/nov trip is high and I'm 2 weeks out. The days of lower more affordable prices seem to be rare now. I use to only use Alamo and National, but National is completely out of my league now. I have 5 trips in 2018, and all of them are high. If I can get a base fare under $200 a week, that's a good price now.....sad

The best rates I've been seeing have been through Costco if you happen to be a member.
