Has anyone had luck with the non 'national' car rental places like E-Z or Advantage (there are others around there as well... I just don't remember what they are!). Good deals? Should I stick with a national brand instead?

Why would you only stick with National? What does it offer that is so important that nobody else does.

Everywhere that has a counter/kiosk in the airport is in competition. Use the one that offers the best price/product as you see it.

alamo is at mco and on disney prop just got full size today for 17.99 a day, thrilled!

they have lots of last minute specials!!!

No, not National the car rental brand... a 'national' car rental brand (like Alamo, Enterprise, etc.) or the local, lesser known like E-Z or Advantage that are also there.

Still "Everywhere that has a counter/kiosk in the airport is in competition. Use the one that offers the best price/product as you see it." There is nothing to gain by using somone else because you have heard of them or they have so many locations.

You could try Dollar and Thrifty also. We got a good deal last time with them.

I have used Advantage on my last two trips. The rates couldn't be beat by anyone so I keep using them. They can be very pushy and you have to watch out that they don't add extras on without asking. This has happenned several times.

Last trip they tried to push ne into a Buick LaCrosse for 19.00 / day more. I told them no I want to stay with my Intermediate car and rate. When I go to my car it was a LaCrosse anyway for the low Intermediate rate. GO figure !!

They are in the Terminal now but the walk to the cars is a long one. I would use them again but be alert.
