Car rental help...

Hello everyone, im hoping you can help me out with some advise about renting a car...or van actually.

We are heading to WDW in 34 days...yippee! recently my son as expressed a desire to go to gator land (grandma just HAD to talk about how COOL it was) so i'm wondering if we can make that happen for him.

My questions..

1) we have 4 kids all in car seats but wont have car seats with us, how does that work? can we rent them?

2) how do we travel to and from the hotel to wherever we pick up and drop off he vehicle? cab?

3) Might it be cheaper to just take a cab the entire way to/from gatorland?

I have a GREAT recommendation for you!! Email Bob at kingofcarrentals@hotmail.com. Tell him where you want to rent from, minivan preference and dates - he will book a GREAT deal for you! Reference a previous client (Catherine Reid) and you send him $16 via PayPal. You don't give HIM your credit card info, just the reservation details. He will give you a quote (you pay the $16 if you want him to book the reservation for you), and you get the reservation confirmation from the rental agency. He specializes in minivans, and got us a deal at 50% off the lowest price I was able to find on my own. We heard about him through many rave reviews from others!!

You can either rent car seats (around $8/day each), but you can check car seats for free with your airline.

If you are staying on Disney property call Alamo to make a reservation. They will pick you up at any WDW Resort and take you to the Car Care Center (Hess Station) near MK where they are located. And they will return you to any location on WDW when you return it.

And to get to Gatorland from the Car Care Center head South to Osceola Parkway (signs will also indicate Turnpike South), go off-property about ten miles to Orange Blossom Trail (US 17 & 92), turn left and it will be less than a mile on your right (after the Tupperware World Headquarters campus).
