car rental from mia to wdw

Hi all. We are staying at wdw after a cruise that leaves out of miami. We are planning to rent a car from MIA to Orlando. It looks like it's cheaper to rent from mia and return it same day in orlando, and again just rent another car for the week. My question is, where is the best place to drop off the rental from MIA? MCO? how far is the drive if we rent another car from MCO to Pop Century? any ideas? TIA!

Look at dropping it off at the Car Care Center if you're using Alamo or National.

I've experienced about a half hour drive from MCO to WDW.

Remember that rental cars are on a 24 hour clock. A same day rental should be the same coat as keeping it 24 hours.

Definitely really look at those costs. Take notes. Doing a one day rental then a longer one isn't always going to be the cheapest option. And prices might be different looking at returning it to CCC vs MCO. It all depends on where the rental company wants their cars to be at that time.

We just did this last week. Rented Alamo at Miami airport after cruise and dropped off at Car Care Center, took free shuttle to hotel. It was quick and efficient....we didn't rent a car for our WDW stay though.
