Car rental for one day

We will be renting a car for one day to go to seaworld. The day we have planned to go is in the middle of our trip. We have planned Downtown Disney the day before and Hollywood Studios the day after going to Seaworld. Where would the easiest place to rent a car be?

Some of the Hotel Plaza Blvd. (Downtown Disney area) hotels have different names now, but the ideas and options discussed in the thread are as valid now as when the thread began.

You can minimize your rental cost by limiting your car rental period to 24 hours or less. For example, you could begin your rental the morning that you're going to SeaWorld and return your car the next morning before 24 hours are up.

It's important to keep business hours in mind. Renting (before your SeaWorld day) at 8:00 p.m. and returning (the evening of your SeaWorld day) at 8:00 p.m. might seem like a good idea, but the car rental offices on and near WDW property will probably all be closed.

If you're planning to go to DHS the day after your SeaWorld day, you might consider renting from National or Alamo at the WDW Dolphin. After you return you car in the morning, you can walk or take a boat from the Dolphin to DHS.
