Car rental for longer than 7 days

Hi everyone. We are in the beginning stages of planning a trip for mid to late August. Dates are not set in stone yet. We were originally going to go for a week, but since we have a first timer with us, we are thinking of adding 2 days. My question is, do you think we'll have a harder time finding deals for the van rental ( flying into Sanford) since it's a 9 day rental ? TIA

I have a 2 week trip planned for this October and I was originally only going to rent a car for 1 week. I found that with every place I checked, once the rental period hit 1 week the cost per day dropped dramatically. I believe I'm paying about $20 more for 6 extra days.

We always stay for more than a week, and the rental beyond the 1 week mark is always reasonable.
