Car Rental for 10 hours and offsite!

Hi my ex just agreed to letting me pick up DD while we are at WDW. I need to rent a car on a Friday for about 12 hours. We are staying at the POFQ and are using ME to get there.

Question: Where can I get a rental for cheap offsite? Anyone with a code to use? I really need help with this one. Please...

I know there are other car rental agencies with counters at some of the DTD hotels, but I find it easiest to use National (or Alamo) and pickup a car from either the Car Care Center (CCC) near MK or at the Dolphin. For a 1-day rental (which is usually the same price for 12 or 24 hours) the avg. price has been anywhere from $30-$50. The CCC has a shuttle which will pickup at POFQ or you can get to the Dolphin from either Epcot or MGM via walking or the Friendship boat - or by bus from MK or AK. Also, I'd make an online reservation and keep checking as the prices do flucuate.

Thanks for the info. Yes, right now it is at $38 and $41 taxes included. So I will call it a good deal. I will keep checking though as it does change based on rentals.

how far from wdw will your dd be? would a taxi both ways suffice?

You should be able to apply a code or contract #, but I believe most coupons are for 3 or more days.

We are at POFQ and so far enterprise will pick me up for $35.86 or Alamo from the Dolphin for $41.51 both include taxes. So just one day is costing so much, but it is to get the DD so it is worth it.

Now, how to figure out the rest, to get a base ticket for her or the 3 day resident? Free Dining but again, what to do?
