We need to be in Ft Myers for 3 days before we head to WDW but when looking online I can't seem to find any car rental co. that allow for different pick up and drop off locations. Does anyone know of any companies that allow this? I did get a price of $450 for minivan for 10 days if we fly into MCO and return there also but if we could fly into Ft Myers it would save the 3 hr extra drive.

That's odd, just about all the major agencies that I normally check (Avis, Budget, National, Dollar, etc.) have options for picking up and dropping off at different locations. I was able to put in the Ft Meyers airport code (RFW) for pick-up and Orlando airport code (MCO) for a return just fine at the online booking webpages I mentioned above. Are the webpages just not giving you an option to enter a different location for drop off? I know on some of those pages, there's a box you have to check that says you want to return the car at a different location, before it will let you enter in that different location. HTH.

I have picked up in Tampa and dropped off in Orlando more than once through National with no problems what so ever.

I booked a minivan rental through Dollar a few days ago - pick up in Orlando and drop off in Tampa. Which car rental companies are you trying to book with?
