Car Rental Drop Off near SSR or OKW?

We will be renting a car from the airport and dropping it off the next day when we check into SSR or OKW (still to be determined) and will use it for a grocery run. Because another party is joining us we cannot all fit into the car and I can't justify the $ for a van. What is the best company to rent from and drop off near this area?

We have dropped off at The Dolphin before and that worked great when we were staying at the Boardwalk.

The closest auto rental option for both SSR and OKW is the Dolphin rental center. They have both National and Alamo rental cars.

To return to the resort, you can go from the Dolphin to DHS (or EPCOT) and then get a bus back to your resort or ride to DD and then walk of bus back to your resort.

Your other option is the Car Care Center near the MK, but transportation to/from that area is not as convenient (but they will pick you up/drop you off).

The Buena Vista Palace Hotel has an Alamo rental desk. I rented from them for a day to visit relatives. I walked across the street from the Paddocks, picked up the car, then walked back when I returned the car. About a ten minute walk from Paddocks/Congress park. You could use Magic Express to SSR and then rent the car for a day for grocery run.

Thanks... we are actually staying offsite the first night as we don't get in until 10:00 p.m. I will check and see if that is a drop off from a airport rental.

There are rental agencies inside of some of the hotels on Hotel Blvd. close to SSR. I know that there is a Dollar and others.

There is a Budget rental inside of the Doubletree suites on Hotel Blvd. By map it looks to be a short walk from DTD. I think I will look into the Dolphin centers now though.
