car rental drivers

Hi everyone, I have a question, I just booked my rent a car and they asked how many drivers. I just said me, but my boyfriend will probably be driving too, she said to just tell Budjet when you get there.
Has anyone else done that before? Because I know if I add another driver they will probably charge me more.

Absolutely! Tell them when you pick up the car, and yes, you will pay more. You will both have to show your DL's when picking up the car.

IN fact, regardless of how many dirvers you request on your initial reservation, they will ask you if you want to add another driver. It is worth it to be prepared. I think it was an additional $7 per day.
