Car REntal discount Feb 2011 and Summer 2011

Hi all. have to make two trips to orlando area 2011 and car rental prices way too $$$$$$. any coupons any one seeing or discounts that I'm missing? thanks

If you have a Costco card there are discounts and coupons valid thru 12-2011 on the site.

Mess with various codes. For my April 2011 Arizona trip the Budget code mentioned in this thread brought total to about $100 more than the Costco code and coupon. Just takes time trying to find the right combo. There is a thread on that code and some have great luck and some find rates higher. That was my experience.

Most of the best discounts do not come out until the beginning of next year. There is a good booking trick I found on the boards you can use now to get some really awesome rates for next year. This applies to Alamo and Enterprise with the best rates being with Enterprise.

I found a compact for $154.95 including taxes and fees in February and for $163.43 in July for 7 days and one hour. Your booking times must not be exactly on the hour e.g. 2pm to 2 pm. The rates seems to be best on greater than seven day rentals. You can also use the 15% off discount at http://www.carrentalsavers.com/enterprise.html to help out. Hope this works for your times.

Hi I got a better rate at Budget with Y973800 than with the other one quoted on the boards, sorry forget the code....X47........ Doesnt hurt to try them all. I got this code from Mousesavers.

I used the X474200 code last night to get a minivan from Budget for 7 days during President's Week 2011 for $296.40, including all taxes and fees! Received my confirmation number by email and can't find any restrictions in the terms and conditions. Saved us over $200 from the previous best rate that we found with Alamo.
