Car Rental Booking with Aeroplan

Anyone ever done it? I have been search everywhich way to get a good deal on august car rental for Disney. We were going to us Aeroplan to get our tickets (at least one) but ended up getting free dining instead. When I check Aeroplan, we have more than enoughto book the car from Avis or National through them.

But I am curious as to the "catch". It looks too easy and too good to be true!

I used my aeroplan miles in September when I needed to get a car from POrt Canaveral to Orlando. No catch it all. We got a car through Avis. They had my reservation and I was on my way. I ended up being late with the drop off time but the guy gave me a wink so I didn't get charged the extra day. Since I was running late I didn't fill the car up before I got there so I had to pay for a full tank, but that was expected. Go for it. Very easy process.

Wow! I am amazed! I have been reading posts on problems and challenges with codes, coupons and gift certificates. This just sounded too good to be true.
