Hello! We are going to DL for the first time in November and got excellent airfare from Philadelphia to Ontario airport (about a 45 min ride to Anaheim). Does anyone have any experience with car rental agencies at this airport? There was so much info for our trip to WDW in the past that I've gotten spoiled. :surfweb: I don't know which agencies are the good ones and which ones are in the airport versus which ones are a shuttle-ride. Any help would be appreciated!:worship: We are staying for a week and visiting friends so a rental car is a must.

TIA-Deb

All of the car rentals are at the end of the terminal. Ontario is a small airport, so no worries about a long shuttle ride to the rental areas. The only problem that I've encountered with rentals at ONT is very early in the morning. The selection isn't very good, but that turned out to be in my favor a couple of times. I was upgraded twice to a SUV, because the full size car I reserved weren't available.

What time and day of the week are you landing in ONT? Depending on your time and day, the drive can be anywhere between 45 mins to 1 1/2 hours.

Btw, I'll be in Philly in early Oct.

If this helps you I booked alamo for long beach airport for 6 days for 121.20 taxed out the door.

I found on alamo site 25 dollars off for 5 day or more and if you prepay you get 10 % off too I think I did pretty well for 6 days.

Thanks for everyone's help! We are flying in the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and will be getting in around 1pm (barring any delay!).

Mike, have fun in Philly! Are you visiting for business or pleasure?

Deb,

At that time of day going from ONT to DL shouldn't be a problem at all for traffic. Even arriving latter you should still be okay. The commuter traffic will be going the opposite direction.

The transportation board is a good place to also look for discounts/codes. They don't just apply to WDW.

I'll be in Philly for my church. We have been invited to host another Harvest Crusade there. This will be my third visit. I love the City of Brotherly Love. I also need to get my cheese steak fix!
