Car: Rental A few Questions.

Hi Everyone

Okay, so I am going to Disneyworld and staying at POR in August for 6 days. I was not planning on renting a car. However, since my wife now wants to go to Medieval Times, and since the buses aren't that great from POR (according to multiple threads) I was thinking of renting a car onsight. I will be using the Magical Express from MCO so I only need the car for trecking around the resort. The trip to and from Medieval times alone is about 50 bucks total.

So does anyone know if there are rental agencies at Disney? Do they give good deals? Do they deliver the car to your resort?

I tried to search, as I'm sure this info is here, but I get the 503 error every time.

You can rent from Alamo/National at the Car Care Center (near the MK) and at the Dolphin resort. You can get a ride to and from the Car Care center, but they don't deliver the car to you. It's easy to pick-up at the Dolphin if you are at Epcot. I recommend making advance reservations, because I've seen a "No cars available" sign on more than one occasion when picking up my car at the Dolphin.

We have done the Medieval Times and wouldn't spend the money to do it , wished someone had told us how bad it was, IMHO, I would go to Sea World or UIA before that. The food was not good. At $50.00 per adult and $34.00 per child, do something else.

That said, I am renting a car at the Dolphin in August for $61.79 for 3 days over a weekend.

I used an AE card code and a BJ's coupon, never had to show either card and I have don't it dozens of times.
