Car Hire

We are staying at the Disneyland California Hotel and want to hire a car to drive down to San Diego, which is the closest car hire company? Sorry if this has been asked before I've been searching for an answer but can't find it.

You can rent from any rental company you like, most will pick you up and take you over to the rental place.

Enterprise, Avis, Hertz, any of the big chains are available in the area.

Apparently there is an Alamo rental car office in Downtown Disney next door to the Walt Disney Travel Company office. I don't know where they keep the cars though...

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I guess the alamo desk is only useful if you want to book there as they will have to transport you to the car lot like the other rental companies. I might as book on-line and see who out of all listed gives me the best deal
