I usually book the Alamo gold package however for this trip the only thing I was getting for £100 was extra drivers and fuel therefore I have just booked the standard, it includes the following -

Hi,

You will be fine, provided you have the CDW and more importantly the supplementary insurance, what Alamo refer to as the 'extended protection' then you have nothing to worry about.

What you have listed is effectively = to a silver package scenario, with the gold being = extra driver & fuel.

Have you priced up on UK site thru this link, I believe it still gives 10% discount, its the all inclusive package so no worries if you have everything covered. Let us know how it compares to the price in $US

Thanks guys, I always find the car hire very confusing I have in the past ended up paying for things I don't need! In the past I have opted for the gold package as I had this when I crashed a hire car a few years ago and everything was covered. If I have everything I need with the silver apart from the extra driver and fuel then I am happy
