Now add in the fact that the AP Holder can buy a TIW card. If the family is there for a week or more and dines at several signatures, more savings can be added in. We had a $500 (pre-discount) dinner at California Grill and almost made back the cost of the card in one night. After that, we were racking up savings.

I beleive the thread where I saw someone mention this, they were buying a TIW card as well.
