Car Care Center

OK, so we are going to WDW in September. We didn't plan to rent a car, were just going to use WDW transportation.
I have an elderly set of grandparents over on the Space Coast; they had originally planned to come over to Orlando and take a little mini-vacation and spend a few days in us. However recent downturns in health for Papa Joe have made that an impossibility, so we decided to go see them.
We had a "downtime day" built into our plans, where we had originally planned to just lounge around the resort. Now we are going to rent a car for one day, leave really early that morning, buzz out to the coast , spend the day with the grandparents (and take the kiddos to the beach), and return to Orlando late that evening. I have already called Alamo and reserved a car, to be picked up at the Car Care Center.
So here's my questions... first, where IS the Car Care Center?
What will be the easiest way to get there? Will they send a shuttle to pick us up? We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

The CCC is over by the entrance to the MK. You can call them the night before you need the car and they will pick you up and take you to the CCC, then reverse it when you get back. Very easy.

What are the hours for the Car Care center, do you know?
When I reserved the car, I told the man from Alamo that I wanted to pick the car up around 7 in the morning, and that I didn't know when we would be back. He said (at least I think he said (he had SUCH a strong accent he was impossible to understand... I spent half the conversation saying excuse me???) that we could return the car as late as midnight and still only have to pay one day's rental fee.
Will the CCC be open at 7 to send someone to come and get us? If we get back very late (11 PM to midnight-ish) will they still be open to drop off the car and get us back to POR? Or do we need to be back before they close?

I just checked their (Alamo) site...these are the hours posted for the CCC..
Sun... 6 am-6 pm
Sat... 6 am-6 pm
M-F...6 am-8 pm

You shouldn't have any problems at 7 am.

I see, however, that they close at 8 PM. That means, I assume, that I will need to have the car back before 8 in order to get shuttled back to my resort?
Or would it be feasible to drop off the car (possibly they have a drop box for the keys if you return after-hours?) then catch a bus back to POR from the MK? Is the CCC close enough to the MK to just walk over?
Sorry for all the questions, I was going to ask what's-his-name on the phone from Alamo, but I just couldn't understand him enough to have a conversation... name, address, and phone number was hard enough!

MK is not close enought to walk to. I can't say for sure about dropping the car off after hours. I've only used the Alamo counter at the Dolphin. You could drop it off and take a cab back to POR I suppose.
The only number listed was this one...888-826-6893, but that may be a central Alamo number.
