Car Care Center vs. Dophin resort

My family and I will be down in WDW in June and on the last day of our trip I'd like to rent a car for three days as we'd like to head over to Kennedy space center. We will be taking the ME down for 6 days and staying at the Poly. On our last day I'd like to get the rental car. Which location do you think is more convienent for me? If I go with the Car Care center do they send a shuttle to pick me up to get the car or would they bring it to the hotel?

Any advice is appreciated as this is our first time renting.

I think you should stick with the CCC. They will pick you up and bring you to the CCC.

The CCC will be the handiest to you at the Polynesian. Call them the day before you are picking up your car and they will be able to schedule for your ride to their rental counter.
If you were to be in Epcot on that day, you could easily walk over to the Dolphin and get your car there. I have done that. I took the keys and then returned at the end of our park day and valet got the car for us.

The Car Care Center is usually less expensive too.

thanks everyone. Does anyone know how early they open? I would love to get over there around 7 am so I can come back, pack the car and head off to a park for the day.

I also wanted to rent a car for one day, coming from the Coronado hotel, does the Car Care center sound like the place to rent it? Where is it located on the Disney property? After you drop off the car, do they have a shuttle to take you back to your hotel also? And you can pick anytime to pick up your car from Alamo, correct? Thanks for your help.

I have seen info stating that the office opens at 6am. You can probably set up a pickup time that works for you the day before when you call them to schedule the pickup.

And yes, they will shuttle you to their office and back to your resort (or wherever you wish to go). You just have to make prior arrangements for that..call them the day before to schedule your pickup. The CCC is located close to the MK entrance.
