I can watch my DVDs on my computer, but how do I get a screen to print as a picture????
I know this must be the wrong spot to post, but I need help.

Pause the video at the spot you want the picture of.

press "ctrl" (on the left hand bottom side of your keyboard) and "prt scr" (near the right hand side at the top) at the same time.

then, open up paint on your computer and go to "edit" then "paste" and your screen shot will be there.

you will then be able to crop the part out you want.

hope this helps :)

OK, I did this and I got the shot on the screen. But then I couldnt find how to crop it. I didnt see that option.....obviously I dont use paint much.:confused3
Anyway, I tried to save it on my desktop but when I went back and opened it the picture was of a black screen that said "pause" on it.
Can you help me a little more?
Maybe a "for dummies" set of directions.
Sorry but thanks.

AFAIK, you can't crop in Paint. you just save the image in paint, then open it in a different photo editing program.

ok lol!

When you have paint open, on the left side on the toolbar thing, theres a star, and a rectangle. Click on the rectangle.

then your curser should look like a cross. Take your curser and left click with your mouse. Start on the top left hand side of you picture and drag it to the bottom right hand side. After you have a rectangle around your picture, right click and press copy.

then, at the top of our paint screen, go to file, then click on new

after you click new, press paste. Your cropped picture should then be there. Then go to file, save as, and it will save the picture.

If that doesnt make sense, you can post the screen shots here and I can crop them for you if you want!
