For DH and I, this was our "big" dinner on our first trip together - courtesy of my mother. I am not a big seafood person, but we had checked out the menu online. I found something to eat. It was quiet at the time of our reservation and a nice break from the parks.
I think Cap'n Jack's is slightly more expensive than the rest of WDW. However, I think their food is very good--I've been there twice in the past year. I really enjoy the pasta/seafood dish and the bread is delicious.

I've never thought of Cap'n Jacks as expensive, and I wonder if you're talking about Fulton's. We've eaten at Cap'n Jacks twice and enjoyed good food and service both times.
Ate at Fulton's once. Food was very good, but overpriced IMHO. Service was not at the level that type of restuarant should have. Not bad, just average or a little below.
We have eaten there in the past and we had a decent time. If we happened to be in the area we would eat there again but I don't think we would make a special trip just to eat there.
