We all liked the food at Captain's Grille last summer, however, when we were seated by the hostess in an undesirable table and asked if we could perhaps have another table, the hostess was very sweet and sat us elsewhere. The manager came SCREAMING up to her and was shouting, "THEY CAN NOT SIT THERE!!" He made quite a scene and as embarrassed as we were, I felt so sorry for the hostess. We finally were seated at another table, but his screaming fit started to ruin our dinner...my husband's birthday dinner, too! I found another lady in charge and told her what happened, and she came and got him and talked to him for a really longggg time. When he came back, he was whistling and talked to EVERY SINGLE other table except for ours..lol We decided to "unmake" it the birthday dinner and celebrated the next night at Jiko instead. They were wonderful as always and the birthday was saved! I emailed Disney when I returned home about this man, and they called me back and assured me he had been dealt with. Who knows, but I won't ever return there. I know that it was just our unfortunate experience, but sometimes even one thing can ruin a place for you!
