Captain's Grille question

Do they have good breakfast? Is an ADR necessary?

What about dinner? ADR needed?

How far of a walk is it from the Beach Club Resort?

How is their breakfast compared to Cape May Cafe? How about price? I can't find price of Captains grille buffet.

Captains' Grill is in the Yacht Club Resort which is attached to the Beach Club, about a 5-7 minute walk depending on where your room is located.
Reservations are always a good thing to have at Disney and a must durinig busy times.

We've eaten at Captains Grille once...back in '08... DH & My "Date NIght"...

IN hindsight... I think we could have chosen a MUCH Better "Date Night" but the food was not bad at all...I wouldn't call it a "Destination" restaurant....but one for convenience... We were staying at BC (our last 3 visits at BC) and walked there...and it was very close...nothing to walk there...

We've eaten at Cape May Cafe for Dinner 3 times... Again...I would NOT consider this to be a destination restaurant. We were there in '04,'06,'08...they may have made some improvements to the menu...and don't get me wrong..it wasn't bad....just not anything special... comparable to H&V which gets a bad rap on here...

We had ADR's for all the above. Not a bad idea any time...and with most...you can cancel if you have to... although we've never cancelled...

When we stayed at the YC we had breakfast at the CG, it was nothing to get excited about

We live Captain's Grille for any meal. I don't recall the price for the breakfast buffet but it is less than Cape May since it is not a character meal. Good a la carte selections as well.

I agree with Halle....reservations are always a good idea. You can probably make them the day before or even day of dining without much of a problem.

I had the breakfast buffet in October. I think it was $15.99 give or take. I enjoyed it. I took photos of it in my food report in my signature. Link to the review is in my first post if you care to see it.
