Captain's Grill, Capt'n Jacks, or Teppan Edo???

Which is the best out of Captain's Grill, Capt'n Jacks, or Teppan Edo??

I ate at two of the three a few weeks ago (Teppen Edo and Capt Jacks) but I can hardly compare them. One is a teppen table Japanese spot and the other is a casual seafood restaurant.

Will you be at Epcot that day? Or Downtown Disney?

We had a decent exp at Capt Jacks, but can't say I'd be rushing to return. It was just okay and fairly overpriced. Teppan Edo was a nice surprise as we haven't gone there in 10+ years; it was a fun environment (built in entertainment!), tons of food, and very tasty.

These are pretty different restaurants but personally I'd rather go to Teppan Edo. Its a unique meal, unlike the others which are just a regular restaurant experience.

I love Cap'n Jack's for nostalgic reasons. Sadly, it is not the oyster bar it used to be. In my opinion, CJ's is the best example of a Disney menu destroyed by the dining plan. But, the food is still pretty good. No sad little crab cakes here! I agree it is overpriced (what Disney restaurant isn't?). The clam chowder is great, and the strawberry margarita is a WDW classic.

Capt Grill was fantastic, Capt Jacks has had pretty bad reviews lately and Teppan Edo..no thanks I can get much better Hibachi food at home for alot less

I have been to all three and here's my take on things (fwiw).

Cap'n Jack's - Decent food (crabcakes are very good), but not a distinctive experience.

Captains Grill - Nice atmoshpere, but I have had better steaks.

Teppan Edo - My pick of the three. Overpriced? Maybe, but you tend to pay a little more at WDW. Our food was very good and the atmosphere was very good. Keep in mind, that unless there are 8 in your party you will likely be seated with others (which can be a plus IMHO).

However you decide, ENJOY!

Our vote is for Teppan Edo. It is a must do for us on each trip.
