Has anyone had a good experience at Captain Jacks recently? We are planning on going there for crab cakes appy and lobster tails. I haven't heard any good comments recently!

I like Capt'n Jacks. I know I am in the minority here. Lol

We ate there in January and I had crabcakes and lobster tails! I liked them.

My son and I are going back in August as well.

We've been there the last two Septembers and we will be going back. The crab cakes were really good, as was the lobster.

I was there in Sep 2005. My husband and I thought it was well worth the price (even if it was free dining). I am planning on going back in October 2007.

I liked the food at Capt'n Jacks. We were on the DDP. I had a salad, lobster and chocolate cake. DH had the shrimp coctail, salmon and cheesecake. All were good, but the kid's menu is lacking seafood! We got her the salad, mac and cheese and smoothie. DH ate her salad and he gave her some shrimp coctail. She also had some of my lobster. The kids smoothie is really a "virgin" daquiri, but it was good.

Overall, the food is good, not great, but we enjoyed it.

We ate there on July 19. We had lobster tails, claim choder, and the cheesecake. Service was good and so was the food. We were celebrating our youngest dd's birthday. They brought her a certificate with two Tinkerbell pins on it along with a piece of cake. The whole restaurant sang her "Happy Birthday".

We love eating at Captain Jacks.
