Considering how well the movie is doing and with the 3rd to be released next May maybe just maybe WDW and DL will extend the Capt Jack Pirate Training I really hope he is out and about in Sept when we go

When we were at the World of Disney in NYC during 4th of July week. They had pirate training there. I just had to snap a picture of the pirate with my DGD. Note the threatening sword in his hand.

I just stood there with Melody and she was so fascinated watching the kids learn their swordplay with the balloons, then they took the pirate oath and finished by saying "ARRRRRGGH"

We (My two daughter and I) were in NYC to see a taping of Good Morning America on July 5th. Disney sent over 3 pirates over to the show to promote the new film. My 6 year old daughter and this pirate had good time together in between the weather reports. She turned down an autograph from Robert Downey Jr. to get his autograph. I guess she may be a pirate at heart.

There is a show in front of POTC multiple times a day. I don't know how long it will be there.

Here are a few pics from the show out front of POTC. My Grandson got picked to be in the show. He now thinks he's a pirate, he has the papers to prove it.

I know this is old news, but I was at MK with my son on July 7, the "official" opening of POTC. We had ridden during the soft opening on July 1, so we were just over to get my son's hairs cut at Harmony BS and that's about it. The woman who cut my son's hair said Johnny Depp was at MK for the grand opening. However, it was pouring like a big dog at that point (mid-afternoon), so we hopped over to POTC to see if anything was abuzz. The only thing happening were the ridulous lines to buy stuff! Did anyone see anything or anybody that day?

My DD8 and I finally rented and watched POTC (Curse of the Black Pearl) yesterday in anticipation of our upcoming trip. (Yes, I know, what took us so long...I was worried that it might be too intense for her or that she wouldn't really get anything out of it). OMG, now I realize what all the hype is about ! We both loved it and can't wait to see #2 in the theater, and to ride POTC at MK. I'm even teaching her the song...
