Captain Hook and Pirate fairy Zarina

my daughters have there heart set on meetng Captain Hook in there pirate fairy zarina costumes..
Will hook "know" who they are.. Or do the characters stick to the classic stories?

Hook doesn't speak, but he might mKe a show of some sort.

They do both, but typically stick of the main stories unless the guest says something otherwise from what I've seen.

My niece met Hook in her Zarina costume last year at the Pirates and Pals Voyage. No one knew who she was and everyone kept calling her Tink, even Peter Pan. She was so excited she didn't notice and I wasn't going to say anything!

Just double-checking: Are you planning on doing the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage? That's the only place where you're guaranteed to meet Hook -- he doesn't have regular meets in the parks.

My experience is slightly different. Though not with Zarina (a Character Disney just forgot and has never been represented in the parks at all).
But I find the characters are very well versed in all the movies their character was in.
For instance,
Ariel will be fully aware she has a daughter named Melody.
Step Sisters will be fully aware of their activities in the Cinderella sequels. Anastasia is aware she fell in love with a Baker, for instance.
Now, they won't bring them up unless you do but they won't be totally unaware of them either. And of course, some are more diligent about remembering their characters activities than others. But the good thing is they are all great at improv so they can fake it

The problem with Zarina is she was just forgotten by Disney so few even know about the character at all. They really should train Tink, Hook and Pan about her.

We asked Elsa about Storybrooke last year in August before the Frozen queen even appeared in OUAT and she totally knew what we were talking about. It was awesome!!
