captain feathersword vest...seamstress needed

Hi! My DH and I are probably taking our DS to MNSSHP on oct.10. WE finally decided on a costume theme...the wiggles! DS is obsessed. My dh and ds will be greg(yellow) and anthony(blue). I want to be captain feathersword but I have no clue where to find a red vest.

I would not want to get someone to make it for me until mid september when we know for sure we are going. Also I've lost 12 lbs and plan to lose more so I don't want the vest to big. I don't think it would be hard to make. I will add embellishments after it is made. I am posting a pic of him also.

So how should I put this costume together? Should I get the vest made in september? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! I know there are some amazing seamstresses and creative people on this board so I'd love to know what I should do. Thanks!

I would offer to make you one, I did a childs one so an adult wouldn't be a problem, however, I am in disney from 5th to the 20th, so couldn't do it until I get back, which may be too late for you.

Thanks to Mickeysears I have the vest taken care of. Can anyone tell me about where to get a shirt, sword, boot cuffs etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

I can't help you, but wanted to say that my son is also totally obsessed with the Wiggles! He drives me nuts wanting to watch the videos so often. I have waaay too many Wiggles songs memorized and stuck in my head at any given moment .

Aww thanks! My DH came up with it. Get the new DVD You make me feel like dancing! It's the best they have made so far. Great songs! I miss Greg but Sam is doing a great job.
