Day 11 - Tuesday May 16th ( I think lol)
Im going to try and finish these blooming things off once and for all!! - one problem , I cant understand my writing!!!!
The temp and weather today didnt look good at all (in Florida standards, in mine is was perfect!!)
For breakfast we thought wed head off for the Ponderosa right opposite our hotel, rather then keep going to the one in maingate east!! We left the hotel and it was pouring down, Thunder was rumbling, the sky was as black as anything and the sky was lighting up with lightning .was lovely to watch.
Hopped in the car soaking wet - even though wed only walked about 50yrds to the car!! Once at the Ponderosa we were seated - all had the buffet breakfast .Mmmmm was kinda yummy , not as nice as the one in Maingate east , but thats probably down to the fact that we had favoured that one from the trip last year. We later came out of there quite stuffed!!
Hopped in the car again - undecided where to go , by this time, the weather had calmed down a bit - it was now just spitting down. Today was so cold - I had a jacket on (he who doesnt feel the cold). After much decision making an unanimous? (sp? Lol) decision was made and we headed off to EPCOT for its opening.

This trip to Epcot was going to be short and sweet - one ride and out. The ride it was - I finally picked up courage to do this (hoorah) - TEST TRACK *gulp* - I was stood in the queue absolutely pooing myself!!
blush: ) Right thats it we got to the front of the queue - I protested to go on (big baby lol) - but after much moaning I gave in. I stepped into the car , strapped myself and in and *zooooooom* off we went!!!!!!!! Youve all been on the ride so wont go into detail about that
..but
.WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a ride I absolutely loved it lololol..
Exited the ride - after having a sit in all the jazzy cars , loved the hummer - I want it!!!!!! Walked out of the shop and it was piddling down still lol - so we vacated the park and made our way to the car Next stop

The sole reason I wanted to go here was for the cheesecake factory!! We had a wonder around - looked in a couple of shops (boring lol) - and then before we knew it - ooooo it was lunchtime what to have what to have . - I was very tempted with the CF - but (and this Is a big BUT) after seeing the food court - I said stuff the CF I want something from there lol - and we all agreed (being bossy pays off) After a little wonder around the food court looking at all the delicious food I chose to have the Italian thingy - I had one slice of cheese and tomato pizza with a garlic bread stick on the side. More shopping followed (*yawn*) .
I found one shop that I thought was really appealing , and that was the sweetshop in Bloomingdales - some of the stuff in there wow!! Bought some sweets for family back home ( I.e. my great 91yr old Nan who is a sod for sweets!!) Now it was time to leave!! (finally - even though I was starting to kind of enjoy it).
Walked outside - yep you guessed it still raining
( I love the rain) LOL. Jumped into the car and exited the car park - making our way back to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon , ready for more bravery tonight at MK!!
The afternoon flew by - just sat in the hotel room , sleeping, DIBBing/DISABing on my PSP, and watching American TV ( what a lark lol). Evening was fast approaching and the battle plan was for us to do MK . By now the weather was just grey , not raining or any other weather, still cool though. Arrived at MK at god knows what time (I didnt write it down oops) The park was pretty busy - much busier than we had previously seen I was going to attempt more bravery tonight - try and do the 3 mountains!!!! (god help me lol) Cut the story short .I went on Thunder mountain (after much moaning lol) and I absolutely loved it!!!!!!!! dont really know why I made such a fuss about it!! The only thing I noticed with it it was very jiggery? And bumpy - nothing at all like Everest (which was so smooth). After that it was Splash mountain gulp again .jeez that is one hell of a drop lol.. - the queue was a massive 1minute wait - lol dont even think it was 1min - went straight to the front (my kind of queue) so no time to moan about this one!! - sat in the log thingy - jeeeeeeeeez I got a wet bottom lol so I knew I was going to get wet ..Oh great here we go lol . So it slowly went through all the caves - I cant believe Ive never heard you lot moan about this music like you do with its a small world!! It is awful!! And them figurine thingies - how scary lol. It seemed to drag on and on , I was getting very bored and impatient. I just wanted to drop and get it over and done with!! Omg - here we go the drop is nearing get to the top - whoooooooooooosh - before I knew it we were at the bottom , soaking wet!! - once again all that fuss for nothing lol I loved it!!!!! Went and looked at the picture - oh god how awful - I hate having my pics took (dont know if youve noticed lolol) so needless to say - we didnt buy it.
Teatime now my fave time of the day! I was really excited about this meal , I know it isnt anything fancy but hey , lovely food!! Went here on the last trip and had the best veggie burger Ive ever had!! It was fantastic!! Anyone know where Im on about?? Cosmic Rays it was , one of (if not #1) my fave restaurants in Orlando.. I had the veggie burger with fries - it was pretty empty in there , mainly because everyone was no outside gazing at the castle waiting for wishes and the parade to start (weve seen before and will see again before we go home) My favourite part of comics is dressing up the burger!! So much fun lol. Chomped away at the food - was blooming gorgeous I can tell ya!! Didnt leave a scrap! After eating up all the food we decided to make a quick exit out of the park before wishes and the parade started - so the ferry boat wouldnt be busy.. Managed to come out of that crowd down main street USA alive lol!! And made our way to the ferry boat - which was empty!! Only a few people on it! It was a lovely ride across the lagoon, I much prefer the ferryboat to the monorail (which stinks of wee lol)
.made it to the transportation centre in one piece , ferry didnt sink or nothing !! (not that I thought it would lol)
Once in the car we drove back to the hotel and went up to the top floor (the floor we were on) and went to watch the spectacular view coming from MK & Epcot - the fireworks, it was great! Did get some video but not sure how to get that on the computer!! (dur) - after standing watching that it was now time for sleep once again!!
Tomorrow day 12 - Universal Studios , IOA and hard rock café!!
Just seen what I wrote - sorry if Ive waffled on a bit or any bad spelling - its very late lol
Will try and get some more up soon - almost finished them - over 4months late I might add
