Hi!
Have any of you taken the 8:30am Stingray City tour? Or should we do the 11:30? I'd rather do the earlier one to avoid the strong sun, but I"m afraid we might be too rushed, or might not make it as the ship arrival time in Grand Cayman is supposedly 7:30am. Any advice is appreciated!

after the ship arives it does take awhile to get cleared by the coast guard. i dont remember how long that took but i think it would be beter to do the 11:30...you wont feel nearly as rushed.

We did the stingray excursion with DCL. We did the earliest one, 7:30 AM. We didn't have a problem. The early one is the way to go for the reasons you are thinking. The sun isn't as hot.

Looking at the navigators on castaway(dot)com, it says that the ship is in port around 7 AM.....you'll have plenty of time to make the early one.
