We are considering booking an excursion with Capt. Marvin's, mostly because our DD is 3 1/2 and is too young to do the Disney stingray excursions. Could anyone share their experiences with me? Capt. Marvin seems to get very positive reviews from what I've read here. Thanks much!

We used Captn Marvins on our trip in August 2003. They were wonderful. We had no problem walking to their office from where the ship docks. People had made it sound far but it is a short walk. My youngest daughter was 5 at the time and enjoyed it. My older daughter who was 7 was scared and ended up sitting on the back of the boat and watching. The staff and everyone we dealt with was wonderful. We would definitely use them again. Stingray City was the favorite part of our trip.

I did Capt. Marvins with my 4 year old, she LOVED it! They had little vests to fit her and little goggles and a snorkle for her. She sat with me on the boat and as soon as we hit the first snorkling stop she jumped right in the water with me and took off swimming! She loved the stingrays, she was petting them and fed one. They did a great job video taping everything she did and of course we bought the video! I did have her wear her floation bathing suit though just in case she fell overboard and then put the vest on while snorkling.

DITTO to what the last two posters wrote. Short walk. No hassles. We even had the old Captain himself. Lots of fun.
