Capt. Jacks-Down town Disney

Looking for anyones views on Capt. Jacks.
Seems like a good choice for the money, am I right?
On the dinning plan are you able to get the lobster?

yes. lobster is on DDP. personally, I hated this place for lunch in january

ok, granted we went for lunch and the menu is very different, but we were less than impressed. the service wasn't bad, we had a good waiter (probably b/c there was NO ONE there and so he had like 2 tables to wait on. the food was gross, and teh restraunt itself is very dirty and old and not very disney to me IMO. reminded me of an old fish house out on the fishing camp...i just didnt want to touch anything ya know? we went in January 2007, so very recent.

Thanks for the details. I love your description of the old fish house...made me LOL! I really haven't heard raves about this restaurant, so I might just quietly cross it off my list. I think the only reason the kids wanted to eat here was because of the lobster tails!

We were just there a month ago, and I thought it was one of the best meals I had during our trip! We had an ADR for 4pm, so we were able to get the lobster, and yes, we were on the DDP. I felt it was definitely worth it, and I will certainly go back on our next trip.

By far the WORST meal ever, and I do not just mean Disney. We were there in Dec for lunch....yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not waste your time or money!!!!

It was our worse meal too. The lobster was rubbery, the soup like paste. Dirty, nasty place!

We ate there last week, we did not have the lobster or the dining plan. We thought the menu was very limited and we didn't like the food. I've had much better meals at our local Red Lobster. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

haha No problem. i like being descriptive. it think It helps you can always try for yourself and see, but i have heard better reviews about earl of sandwich and wolfgang pucks.
