Capt HIram's vs Mulligan's

We are planning a dolphin cruise for our October trip and are looking at the River Queen that docks near Mulligan's. We've always enjoyed Capt Hiram's for lunch/dinner when we're in the Sebastian area, but wondered if we should try Mulligan's this time. Any opinions? Thanks in advance!

We have not tried Mulligan's but Capt Hiram's is pretty good. There is also the Tiki bar close to both which is a nice place with reasonable drink and food prices and sometimes music. The menu is small but their is a daily special which is sometimes a local fish item. There is
also Crab E Bills indian river seafood. It is a seafood market but they recently opened a restaurant, we were there in Feb. This was one of our best meals of the trip. We had red snapper and shrimp both fried but the fish could be grilled I believe and it was fantastic. We went at the end of the trip because they had just opened but we are going back in May and we will be there. We went to the fish market in Nov and had stone crabs which were already prepared and cracked for us and we purchased their champagne mustard which was so so good and sat on our balcony at our ovir at vero and enjoyed. Capt Butchers was also good but food was better at Crab E Bills. Have a great trip we love Vero and hope to retire there someday.

We've done both and frankly put them both on an equal scale. I like the entertainment at Capt Hiram's but also like sitting outside at Mulligan's. Both just mediocre menu's but fun nonetheless.

Very good breakfast menu and view of the waterway early in the morning. Very nice. We have always had good service when eating there and food was good. We like Capt Hiram's for lunch or happy hour too. It is nice to walk along the sidewalk after eating and taking in the beautiful scenery. We love Sebastian. We find it scenic, peaceful and lots of wildlife to see if you are lucky (dolphins, manatees, pelicans and other interesting birds as well).

I've most recently been to Mulligans and enjoyed it. This was in Vero Beach and we would go again.
