We just returned from our trip on Friday, and Capt. Jack's was our one big disappointment.
Few offerings for non-seafood eaters, no steak, inedible penne alfredo with chicken, very rubbery lobster, and day-glow orange mac and cheese for the kids. The spinach artichoke dip was more like a mass of canned spinach with a bit of creamed soup added.
I had one bite of the horrid chicken and pasta and sent it back. DW chewed through her overdone lobster, but did not enjoy it. The key lime pie had a freezer-section quality to it, including a very cold (almost frozen) spot in the middle.
The server was nice, but there was not a single redeeming quality about the food we had.
