Trying to figure out where to go to eat tomorrow. No kids, just wife and I, and she mentioned Cape May Clam Bake Dinner Buffet. I can snag an ADR for it for tomorrow it seems but here's a couple questions/worries I got.

1) Me I hate seafood, I see they have plenty of other food, but if the whole place reeks of the smell of cooked seafood I might get a little queasy. So does it?

2) Looking at a menu from allears, it shows the seafood selection as exactly one type of seafood per day. Is this accurate? I don't get it. How can you call yourself a clam bake if there's just one seafood at the buffet, Thursday being fried calamari.

Thanks for any help

I have always seen a lot of seafood on the buffet. It does not reek of seafood but you can smell the clams & stuff. I'm sure there are other choices that you'd like but it will limit ur choices. This is my Dad's fav. place to eat in WDW. Good luck.

Cape May has a wonderful buffet, lots of choices many which aren't seafood. I didn't notice a strong seafood smell. I would definitly give it a try:)

I was just there in December, and though I didn't eat there on this trip I have eaten there a few times before. As soon as you walk in the door from the pool area into the building you can smell the seafood smell that comes from Cape May. Now, I notice it because I love the smell (I love clams).. but that's down the hall. If you are right on top of it in the restaurant and eating there, I don't believe you notice it at all. My husband isn't a huge fan of seafood (he will eat salmon, but that's about it), but he can find plenty to eat at the buffet there. The food there is good, but not awesome - getting harder and harder to justify the costs of some of these Disney buffets!!! I prefer going to O'Hana at the Polynesian instead. Satisfies everyone's taste and is DELICIOUS!

We were there last week, I was underwhelmed with the offerings for the "seafood" but living in New England, I have high standards. I liked the salad section best. Will I go back? Probably not.
